SSAC upcoming meetings 25th Annual Meeting of the Scandinavian Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy Copenhagen, Denmark, on September 18-21, 2008. The venue of the meeting is Falkoner Centret, which is located in Frederiksberg, close to the city center of Copenhagen. It is a SAS hotel with excellent facilities for a congress of this size. Several cheap hotels are located nearby. The scientific program will focus on issues such as updates on antimicrobial therapy, foreign body infections, infectious epidemiology, endocarditis, Helicobacter and other timely issues. All participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation. Travel grants will be available for young scientists. The SSAC 2008 celebrates the 25th anniversary of these conferences, which have a tradition for being scientifically relevant, a good place to meet colleagues and friends from the Nordic countries and – simply fun!
