Mupirocin 5 and 200 µg (Oxoid)

The mupirocin zone diameter distributions below were made by including mupirocin discs in the routine susceptibility testing of consecutive Staphylococcus aureus (standard inoculum, medium A, 35C, 20h incubation in air). SRGA has not decided on breakpoints for mupirocin.
Tentative breakpoints for the 5 µg disc are 24/23 mm.
Tentative breakpoints for the 200 µg disc are 31/30 mm.
